Questions
How many grams is a cup of flour?
About 125 g when the flour is spooned into the cup and leveled. Scooping straight from the bag packs it to 140–150 g, which makes baked goods dry.
Is a US cup the same as a metric cup?
Nearly: a US cup is 237 ml, a metric cup is 250 ml. The difference rarely matters for cooking but can matter in baking.
How many tablespoons are in a stick of butter?
Eight tablespoons — 1/2 cup or 113 g.
