This page explains how recipes are created, reviewed and corrected on Recipes Dad.
Who writes the recipes
Recipes are published under the byline of James Parker, the founder of Recipes Dad, and edited by the Recipes Dad team at NEXTDIGIVERS LLC.
How a recipe is built
- Home-kitchen ingredients: supermarket ingredients, with swaps in the notes for anything harder to find.
- Complete recipe card: prep, cook and total time, servings, ingredients grouped by component, numbered steps, equipment, storage notes, estimated nutrition and an allergy summary.
- Safety: meat, poultry, fish and egg dishes give the doneness cues and internal temperatures recommended by the USDA.
- Review: quantities, steps and timings are checked for consistency before publication.
Use of AI tools
We use AI tools to help draft and organise recipe text and to create or enhance some food images. Every recipe is reviewed and edited by our team before it is published, and the recipe card, times and quantities are checked for consistency. Images made with AI tools illustrate the finished dish.
Corrections
If you find a mistake — a missing ingredient, a wrong time, an unclear step — leave a note on the recipe or write to editor@recipesdad.com. We correct errors promptly and update the “Updated” date on the recipe.
Advertising and independence
Recipes Dad is funded by display advertising. Advertisers have no say over what we publish. We do not accept paid recipes or sponsored posts without a clear label.
